Lack of Education

Education is instrumental in shaping a man’s destiny and future. It is a known fact that an uneducated man cannot contribute in the development of the country. Even our religion Islam makes it compulsory for every man and woman to acquire education. The smooth running of a country relies heavily on how much importance it gives to education.
Development and progression would come to a halt if there were no education. High literacy rate is another common factor in all developed countries. Education is a primary source of evolution. Developments in science and technology can be accelerated through a widespread of education. It is also understood that through education more skilled people will be produced who can make the country developed.
In Pakistan, lack of education is a root of many social evils. Child labour is a big problem, which is due to a lack of education in Pakistan. It should be mandatory that all children receive education till secondary level. Education equips people with the tools that will help them survive in the society. They can find a job and stand on their feet. Girls’ education is deemed more important as women are faced with numerous challenges in life. This way they can support themselves and become a helping hand for their husband as well.

Lack of education is one problem that needs to be solved as only it can lead to a brighter future for Pakistan. The problems concerning education our numerous but this article is concerning Gender Disparity and how education of girls is thought as something that will lead to the doom of Pakistan, instead of it progression by the Talibans.

Gender Disparity in Education is majorly affected by the new era of Talibans and terrorism. Talibans enforced a complete ban on female education in the Swat District. At a stroke, 60 girls were deprived of their education, joining countless others across Pakistan with little chance of ever going to school. That was six years ago. Today an old blackboard, laced by a cat's cradle of silver cobwebs, preserves that last lesson inside a silent classroom.

Now terrorism is something that the Government of Pakistan is trying its best to solve but the awareness od education can actually stop this spread of terrorism. The Taliban movement was born in Pakistan's madrassas, giving these institutions a reputation as factories for extremism, dedicated to brainwashing their pupils and turning out terrorist recruits. And so by educating the future generation of Pakistan (which includes both girls and boys) we can stop this extremism and rise of Taliban.
